The second annual Cariboo Mountain Bike Film Festival has been underway for over two months, and we are beginning to hear of filmers and their crews crafting their submissions. The film festivals’ vision is to bring the arts and mountain biking communities together in celebration of resilient, inspired and creative communities. Last year we had a modest number of submissions, but screened them to a sold out show, with over 170 people in attendance. There were some amazing submissions, three of which won awards for best action, storyline and composition.

This is the second year for the festival, and we are hoping for  a larger number of submissions this year. At the end of the screenings last year, all I hear was ‘man…..this is what I’m going to do for my film next year’……so we hope that enthusiasm carries forward into this year’s festival.

The Cariboo Crew, a group of riders including Dalton Anderson, Ty Feldinger, Connor Runge, and Cole Feldinger with filmer Keaton Carruthers have been hard at it and have put out a teaser for their project called ‘The Crew Vid’.

Film Festival submissions are due October 1st are can be uploaded to Vimeo with a password and shared with us. For more detail see the Film Festival page.

Ride On!
