Every August Long Weekend, the Arts Wells Music Festival takes place in Wells, BC, the most northern of the Consortium communities. For the past five years this has marked one of the biggest mountain biking weekends in the area as riders from Williams Lake, Quesnel, Prince George and all over the Interior descend on this small town with their bikes. Not only do they experience some amazing alpine riding, but they get to take part in one of the most grassroots and community based arts festivals anywhere.
