The Cariboo Crew – Beyond the Film Festival

On November 6th, over 100 people crammed into the Cariboo Arts Centre (Thank You!) to watch and judge the 2nd annual Cariboo Mountain Bike Film Festival. Unlike the previous year, which saw a number of short entries that used dogs and pumpkins in attempts to wow the judges, this years films were serious mountain bike productions.

The winning entry was submitted by the Cariboo Crew. Headed by Keaton Curruthers, the Crew profiles Cole and Ty Feldinger, Dalton Anderson and Connor J. Runge as they push their limits on the trails of Williams Lake, secret zones in 100 Mile and hidden lines of Alexis Creek. The film was a combination of pure, unadulterated riding from the boys, and some solid reality TV that shared the pain and fun these boys had through the project.

When it came down to it, there was no mistake that the crowd choose the Crew over the other entires from Matt Green and Parker Kennedy. With the decibels reaching the high 70’s, the Crew celebrated the prize and the glory. Watch for more from the Crew as they progress as riders and filmers’ in the years to come.

Check out the film…

The other entries from Matt Green and Parker Kennedy will be posted later this winter.

Enjoy the late season riding,

JC
