Thank You Justin! CMBC Executive Director Resigns.

November marked Executive Director Justin Calof’s last month living and working in Williams Lake.

Justin moved north to Smithers to take on a new position in the Provincial government. With the support of the Williams Lake Cycling Club and Red Shreds, Justin helped to build the Cariboo Mountain Bike Consortium and dedicted every free minute to his part-time position. He envisioned and developed this regional economic diversification initiative around mountain biking in the Cariboo Region, that resulted in growing the mountain bike economy by 13% since 2010.

For now the CMBC Board of Directors will not hire an interim executive director while we finalize a transition plan for recruiting and going forward. We can assure our stakeholders the board is committed to an increased level of leadership.

We wish Justin well in his new endeavors and are grateful for his dedication, hard work and leadership of the Cariboo Mountain Bike Consortium.

Thank you Justin from the Chair and Board of Directors!
