The premier freeride trail in the Cariboo and possibly in the interior, Snakes and Ladders was completely re-built in 2012. It incorporates over 22,000 board feet of Cariboo lumber in sky berms, tables, step downs, and other features with the tightest and fastest single track around.
Built by First Journey Trails and funded by the Province of BC, the Consortium and Northern Development, Snakes and Ladders is a regional signature that everyone should experience.
The trail starts off Bysak Road at the top of the Westsyde network, You'll see the obvious start area next the picnic bench and kiosk. Pedal across the Powerline and into the lower section where things get really exciting. You'll end in the River Valley where you'll turn right to exit back to the cemetery parking area.
